If you want a vicious guard dog, try a German Shepherd. A Pit Bull just doesn't have those characteristics, contrary to popular belief. All dogs have a tendency to test their owners dominance from time to time, especially puppies, and sometimes if overexcited they can forget their manners and get chompy or otherwise become a nuisance. As long as you keep her under control and do not allow her to dominate you, she will be a loving companion. Pit bulls are not vicious dogs, just misunderstood.
